Our Facilities

Our well-resourced school offers a unique mix of structured learning spaces in combination with nature-based facilities.

At Deans Marsh Primary School we are fortunate to be located on a large allotment within the township, giving our children space to play a range of imaginative and nature-based games and sports.

Our facilities enable our students to thrive. We are continually working to ensure these are well maintained and improved upon as learning needs change.

For the past 2 years, we have been developing our wetlands which involves a partnership with LandCare and local families.

Our active parent community is also working with the school to create a new nature trail that links our wetlands to our recently revitalised playground and the rest of the school.

Wetlands

Our school wetlands provide a unique environment in which to learn from nature. We have a number of volunteer parents and community members who assist us in learning about our native animals, flora, and fauna.

We also have an annual trip to the Bambra wetlands to investigate, observe a larger local ecosystem.

A very unique element of our school is our pony paddock. Students can choose to ride to and from school and keep their pony in a fenced paddock at the back of the school to graze safely throughout the day.
